The homemade jam is served in small bowls so that there is not too much left over. The butter hearts in an ice bath are also homemade, using a special machine that Grandma Margret used to make. Everything is freshly prepared as required. The dishes selected at breakfast are served every evening. This makes it easy to control the amount of food actually needed.
