We had high expectations, but they were exceeded in every respect. Our room was a dream; the spa area was the perfect place to relax and unwind; and the food, made from high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, more than lived up to our expectations.
The communication and booking process beforehand had a friendly, personal feel to them, which we then experienced first-hand at the hotel.
We’ve never felt so at home!
We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Thank you very much for six wonderful days. The four of us – two adults and two children – felt very much at home with you. The surroundings, the food, the soup at lunchtime… everything was brilliant. We stayed on for an extra night. It certainly won’t be the last time.

We, a married couple, had booked a long weekend (Friday–Sunday). Everything was brilliant for us! A peaceful location with a fantastic view of the mountains, a very good, generous breakfast, an outstanding five-course dinner and very friendly staff!! We’ll definitely be back!

The hotel is classically furnished and, something that’s extremely important to me, everything is spotlessly clean and the staff are incredibly friendly. They go out of their way to fulfil almost any request a guest might have. At least one of the managers is always on site and is virtually always available to speak to. The food is delicious; the breakfast buffet, in particular, is really excellent. We’re really looking forward to visiting the Mittelburg at least once a year from now on!

A brilliant stay. We arrived a little too early. We were then welcomed with a drink by the very attentive and friendly staff and shown to our table in the restaurant.
